Meet the Chief Medical Director
Prof. Ahmed Ahidjo, MBBS, FMCR, FWACS
The Chief Medical Director is a Professor and Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at University of Maiduguri and University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital respectively. He hails from Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno state, Nigeria. He attended Rumirgo Central Primary School from 1975 to 1981, then Government Secondary School Uba from 1981 to 1984, and then Government Science Secondary School Waka-Biu from 1984 to 1986. And then proceed to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria School of Basic Studies.
He started his Medical career at College of Medical Sciences, University of Maiduguri in 1987 where he obtain Medical Bachelor; Bachelor of Science (M.B;B.S.) Degree in 1994.
He did his Post-Graduate Medical Education (Residency Training Programme) at Department of Radiology University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and Department of Radiology University College Hospital Ibadan from 1996 to 2002 and May to November, 1999 respectively.
He obtain his Fellowship of Radiology of the West African College Surgeons (FWACS) in October, 2002 and Fellowship of Radiology of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCR) in November, 2002 and then proceed to Medical University of Vienna-AKH for Professional Training in Interventional Radiology from 2007 to 2008.
